Warung Damar, our romantic Indonesian restaurant, offers a delicious selection of authentic home-cooked dishes from around the archipelago, together with some international dishes, a kids’ menu, and Indonesian desserts, accompanied by a comprehensive list of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers and soft drinks. Premium and, wherever possible, organic ingredients are utilized, sauces are freshly made and spices are ground by hand. Filled with ethnic charm, Warung Damar is characterised by a soaring timber-lined roof, colonial-style furnishings and marble-topped tables; artwork adorns the deep red walls and colourful tiles grace the floor. Dining takes place within the homely ambience of the semi-open-air interior or alfresco on the pretty garden terrace shaded by frangipani and waru (sea hibiscus) trees. The name means a feast of light, and at night the restaurant and garden is bathed in the soft glow of one hundred coloured glass lanterns.
