The signature catch of the day is Pan Fried Barramundi served with roasted baby potatoes, bok choy and broccoli puree.
Putu holds a Diploma II in Food & Beverage from Bali’s premier Tourism Institute – Sekolah Tinggi Pariwisata, Nusa Dua. He has over 23 years working experience in food production of renowned restaurants and international luxury resorts on the islands of Bali and Lombok.
Putu joined the company in 2012 and coordinated the pre-opening reconstruction and fit out of the kitchen at WakaGangga and assisted in opening the boutique resort in 2014 as Executive Chef.
Since 2016, Putu as Corporate Executive Chef, Waka Hotels & Resorts oversees and supervises food production at all operating units of WHR : WakaGangga, Waka Beach Club, NusaBay Menjangan by WHM, Bamboo Forest Restaurant by WHM and Pasir Putih Campsite on Kotal Beach, West Bali National Park.
Prior to joining Waka Hotels & Resorts, Putu worked at The Oberoi, Bali for 10 years rising to the position of Sous Chef and at The Oberoi Lombok as Executive Sous Chef from 2008 – 2010. He coordinated and organized an Indonesian Food Festival at The Trident Hotel, Mumbai, India and underwent orientation in Thai cuisine at Banyan Tree Hotel Bangkok, Thailand.
