The sophisticated contemporary design of this open-air restaurant is rich with wood sculpture and intricate details inspired by the old era of the royal Balinese kingdoms, as well as a water fountain and pond as a symbol of prosperity and luck. The stunning location gives a spectacular 360-degree view overlooking the Indian Ocean, the neighboring island (Nusa Penida), Bali's highest volcano Mount Agung, and the Komaneka at Keramas Beach own rice fields. Timur Kitchen serves rich Indonesian cuisine and savory international dishes incorporating the finest fresh local ingredients, perfectly prepared by Komaneka's Executive Chef. Chef Gusman

Ida Bagus Nyoman Mardita – in Komaneka family known as Chef Gusman was the man behind the richness of Balinese delicacies developed in Komaneka kitchens. His repertoire on combining art with Balinese local ingredients established over 24 years including his impressive stint over various culinary presentations at Komaneka. Chef Gusman was also a BELAWA, a person who responsible as the chief of all the food preparation in their home bound – Karangasem. His passionate about cooking encompassing local ingredients, flavour, texture and colour had successfully made Komaneka’s local dishes become everyone’s favourite.
