The best octopus we ever had was made by a Greek grandma in Crete. We are shocked at how tender, smoky, and unbelievably tasty it was! We did not stop until mastering this preparation with fresh octopus from Jimbaran Bay paired with an intense and aromatic Asian version of Spanish gazpacho.

Chef Kevin Cherkas

Chef Kevin Cherkas has an enviable track record developed in some of the world's most outstanding Michelin-starred restaurants including Spain’s “El Bulli” and “Arzak” and New York’s “Daniel”. In 2013, he co-founded restaurant Cuca in Bali, where has been praised for his tasty globally inspired, locally sourced cuisine that has succeeded in establishing the restaurant as one of Asia’s favorite delicious destinations. Chef Kevin is also a remarkable public speaker, having participated as keynote presenter in international gastronomic events such as Madrid Fusion (both in Madrid and in Manila), Australian Hotel Association Conference in Perth, FHA Singapore, Enterprise Takeaway by BFM radio in Malaysia and Food & Travel Reader Awards in Mexico DF among many others.
