Chef Eduardo Montes
Eduardo Montes was born in Huancayo, one of the capital areas in Peru at an altitude of 3,271 meters and well known as a cultural and commercial center of the whole Peruvian Andes. Eduardo graduated from D Galia Culinary Art Institute in Peru, where he developed his own style and flair of cooking techniques. Eduardo received his work experience from the best Peruvian chefs of the world, namely Jaime Pesaque and Rafeal Osterlin whose restaurants earned the title of World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
Eduardo brings with him more than 15 years of culinary expertise gained from working in various restaurants worldwide, from Dubai, Hongkong, Italy and back to Peru. In 2016, Eduardo Montes has reached his highest accolade of his career, becoming the chef and owner of Cassa M-Barra and M Restaurant, located in El Tambo Huancayo, Peru.
